but fear of not being able to legally get rid of one has nothing to do with it. What makes you think it's hard to fire people? Unless you have a contract with them that makes it hard to fire them, there are very few claims they can make as to why the firing was unlawful, and they have to prove it. Besides that, businesses with 15 or fewer employees are not subject to federal anti-discrimination laws. Finally, I'm pretty sure you can fire any recently hired person with impunity.
