Very sad day at our house today. Our dog Sam was hit by a car while we were out of town for our vacation and had to be put to sleep.

We buried him today.

We got Sam when he was two years old and Trey and Dillon were two years old also. He has been a great dog for us for the last 11 years and will be so missed. He has always been "my dog", he always felt very protective of the boys and thought that if I wasn't around, it was his job to watch over the boys when they were young. He would always act differently w/ people when the boys were outside than when they weren't.

He was such a great dog.

I'm just sad...............
