The beautiful thing here is that, in reviewing Kennedy's SCOTUS history, he gets the same accusations from both sides! Depending upon which way his rulings go, both the right or the left claim "He's no moderate" and "The sheep's costume has come off" and "He's revealed his true colors" and so forth.

You and I likely agree AND disagree on much. The difference between us is that I don't drink the kool-aid from either side, which almost by definition makes people like me a "traitor" and a "heathen" and an "extremist" to whichever side takes the opposite position of the moment. I long ago learned to shrug off such accusations because they serve only to confirm the prejudice of the accuser.
