Nevertheless, at least in my living room, there is a "big ass old stereo" with big dinosaur speakers dating back to 1984. While admittedly an eyesore, what else to do? Obviously, there are some very fine itty-bitty little speakers, but can i really expect to get the same bass level out of them? Not that i am that interior decoration conscious but the stereo makes my living room looks like a college dorm room circa 1979.
