Our mission is to provide quality regional health care in a Christian environment.
By the way, the hospital has been voted one of the best places to work in Kentucky for 3 years running. Based on all individual reports, it IS a great place to work. My mom worked there about 15 years.
I'll also note that a Catholic church attempted to buy/take over hospitals in Louisville and Lexingon, including the UofL Hospital in the last year and the sale was blocked due to the church's stance on reproductive health and the state's interests of the university hospital as a training center.
