Everything you said in your first paragraph certainly applies to the tea party, at least as I understand it (I'm not "affiliated" with it, since according to your definition that's not even possible).

Or are you falling into the same trap as the SPLC - the subject of the article - and conveniently interpreting things to butress your preferred world view? (In other words, being hypocritical.)

My reason for posting the article at all was to illustrate its hypocrisy. I suspect your response inadvertently, but honestly, reinforced my point for me... for which I thank you.
