It's been clear for awhile that politically they were going to have to charge him with something. Finding a jury is going to be a bear and the simple fact is that his justifiable homicide by reason of self defense claim looks pretty damn good when you look at the real evidence. That's why none of the prosecutors wanted to try this case.
