IF I qualify - and they won't tell me if I do w/o an application process - there are two options: a $1,500 deductible policy that costs $922 a month, or a $500 deductible policy with a premium of $1,256 a month.

So, if I could get their coverage, the cheapest available would be the "80/60" plan with a $1,500 annual deductible that would cost me $11,064 annually in premiums.

As far as I can tell, with the deductible, that means I'm $12,564 out of pocket before I get a dime from them in any given year. My cost paying the doctor myself has come nowhere close to that in any year since I lost my coverage.

Not to mention that I don't seem to have an extra $1,000 a month (or so) lying around that could cover the premiums...
