I just figured out a way to solve the healthcare dilemma in the US

There was a picture on the front page of my local newspaper today. It showed a woman holding up a sign that says "Keep your politics out of my healthcare"

What a great idea, lets give them what they want. First we repeal the law that says hospitals cannot turn away uninsured patients. No insurance, no problem , "Here's out price list" x-ray $250, broken arm $2500, Stitches are $62 each. Those 4 stitches on john's knee cost you $248, plus and extra $200 for bandages, cleaning etc.

We also get doctors to charge upfront if you don't have insurance. All healthcare will now be on a pay as you go basis. "That will be $352 for your blood test Mr. Jones." No more freeloading to drive up our cost of health insurance. If you ain't got the money you can always have a spaghetti dinner fundraiser. Don't worry bypass surgery is only about $250K you might squeak by with $100K for chemo, and that baby your wife is going to pump out soon should only cost you about $4000.

Just keeping it real.
