note Not the insurance company, but the company paying for the insurance

Imagine what would happen if a company decided that it didn't want their insurance provider to pay for cancer prevention screenings due to religious beliefs. Most of us would cry foul as a third of us would eventually develop cancer. No one would say that if people did a common behavior that is a risk factor, lets say play outside in the sun and get a burn, they were sluts, whores, and needed to make sex tapes.

Plus we are not talking about churches outlawing birth control for nuns. We are talking about multimillion dollar organizations that hire thousands of people of a every religious belief. If companies can't factor in religious beliefs during the hiring process, then they can't factor in religious beliefs when deciding the medical care the insurance company is going to pay for.
