...I don't understand why some people are so adamant that it must be paid for someone else. We have lots of rights that aren't subsidized; if you want to exercise them, you pay whatever costs are associated with doing so. We have freedom of the press, but neither the taxpayers nor some insurance company will buy me a printing press. We have the right to bear arms, but nobody is going to buy me a firearm. We have religious freedom, but no government car shows up on Sunday to drive you to church. We have freedom of assembly, but taxpayers don't rent a meeting hall for you.

Why do people insist this specific right be treated so differently?
