Obama went to Congress and asked for 775 Billion, they gave hin 825 billion, he controlled both houses in Congress. This was the largest stimulus package in history and followed the typical Keynesian economic handbook, if he needed more, he should have asked for it. It just didn't work. Or I should say it didn't work any better than Keynesian economics had worked in the past.
