This whole debate is dominated by right wing politicians and clergy, not health care professionals. Providing health care means providing cost effective solutions. Providing access to contraception is a very cost effective solution. Having an unwanted child is not a solution, it is a problem.

On the other hand, keep asking the moron zealot leading the republican party about this issue, which should be a non-issue, and we can guarantee the continued marginalization of the Rs. Kind of like 98% of catholic woman ignoring the catholic church's rules on contraception. The Rs, like the catholic church, will become a nice little symbol that we put on the wall or wear around our neck. The little symbol holds no intrinsic value any more, it is just a relic from a value system that failed to evolve and withered and died.
