BTW, I'm assuming that the mark for all hatchery fish, trout included, is the same, a clipped adipose fin. I've never caught a marked hatchery fish of any species. I've mostly fished for cutthroats and rainbows and although I'm pretty sure that the rainbows were planters I've never seen one marked.
