as long as after the 20 mile hop you are cool with 13 hours of charge time

Its the most ridiculous media and govt hype ever. The car is essentially, I take that back, completely worthless.

It has a 100 mile range, well unless you run up a hill in which case cut off about 20-30%, or you run the air conditioner, in which case you lop off about 20%, or the god-forsaken heater, in which case you need to lop off about 50-60%, or you accelerate or brake, in which case you lop off 20-30%.

So in real life you have a 30k fast golf cart that has a 20 mile range then needs to be charged for 13 hours. And on top of it, if one gets in a wreck any firemen or paramedics that show up will be petrified to help you due to the amps flowing through the thing. I can just see the conversation now...

"Its designed to shut off the battery when its in a wreck."
"Ok, you touch it then and see if it worked."

I've seen a hybrid wreck and it took about 20-30 minutes to ground the thing before anyone would touch it.

Also, it needs to come with a flatbed trailer because nobody is going to have a properly placed 220 amp charger for when you happen to run out of charge and I doubt they would let you plug into their house anyway.
