One of my wifes friends is a lady in her early 50's with one lung from a childhood illness. She presently has three stints in her airways to keep them open, has to stop and rest a couple of times to walk up a set of stairs and is unable to sleep in a prone position, yet it took her almost 3 years to get disability even though she had probably worked ever day of her life until about a year before the SSI claim. Then some 350 lb lady can get a lawyer and file and walk away with a check.
This rapid change in personalities could be a bipolar symptom, you might be able to get a check for that :^).
