It's your tool to be known by the community if you choose, not their tool to get the goods on you.

Having it the other way would be like requiring every person with an Internet account to have a Facebook or MySpace page. That way you can background check them. Perhaps that has it's value in this new warrentless wiretap society, but it's not the intention here.

BTW, BT profiles can even be completely fabricated. I have no way of validating any of it.
