i did it with the special krylon plastic spraypaint, and it has held up. really, i think that regular spraypaint would work just about as well though. either way, i don't think something on the hull would work cause it does scratch of the deck pretty easily, and the hull obviously takes way more abuse but looks ok for a while. i didn't do a design, i just followed the edge of the deck so it looked like 2 pieces of plastic on top of one (it looked pretty cool, it was stealth when you were upright and you could see the cool swirl on the hull when i was cartwheeling or something), and that way i could tape off the area and do a touch up.
