Ender Wave is the approximate halfway point on the Middle Gauley.  In case Bucklick Road is too rough you don't have to drive down it.  You can park at the top and walk down the trail and wooden steps to the river.  However, the last time I was at Bucklick this past November the road was fine.  Folks were taking 2-wheel-drive pickups down it.
