No problems.  Its very similar "float" to the Jefe, Rocker, Mafia, Gus, and everthing else except for the Nomad 8.5.  IMO it works fine for people over 200.  I don't know about the 170 lb mark either...since I've seen recomendation by Eskimo (converted from kg) as a max weight of ~235.
