...no longer makes any dry tops with the sst fabric. If you happen to find one left in stock somewhere, then no I wouldn't buy it. I still use an sst shorty top with no gaskets (neck or arms) but a skirt tunnel....I believe it was called the flush....for warm water paddling in salt water, no neck rash. They do still use the sst fabric for non dry shorties, essentially water t-shirts, and do not use seam tape on them. It's a nice top for teaching on super hot days in California IME, when you simply aren't worried about getting water in your boat. Great for touring applications too! As of the OR show in mid August, the only dry shorty Stohlquist makes is in Gore-tex, so give them a call, 800 535 3565, and they can fill you in on availibility.
