....the gush shorty is made in Gore-tex only now...the sst fabric was having too many problems with the seam tape not adhering to it well. (Shame, the sst fabric is cool, it's still on the non-dry shorties.) The neck closure is just like the grip top closure, which did change this year; they added more room to it. The arm gaskets slide easily to right above the elbow, and then I pull it an inch or two further to where my arm is smoother and rounder; no tendons creating ridges make for a much drier seal. This is when you have to watch that what ever you're wearing underneath doesn't bunch up and compromise the seal. There can be some bunching right around the gasket, of the outer fabric, but it's well below the shoulder area and gives the top much more range of motion than a full length top that can get stretched to its limit when reaching out.
