That the only reason LP gave in is because of the efforts of AW and WVRC pointing out that it would hurt thier business? Hmm. You are saying that these guys being whitewater boaters have nothing to do with it? It is all about greed huh? Geez. That, to me sounds unbelievable and completely biased.

I am hearin alot of your points, and they are good, but you seem to be pretty "set-in-stone" on this issue and that must really suck if it's true. Don't you want to try to think about it in another way? I mean, come-on---in all honesty, we, as "private boaters" or whatever have NO "real" idea about what is really going on in LP's minds, nor do we actually know any real-life money figures. Most of us are just pissed because it's not going to be as easy as it has been. We have to change something. I mean nobody likes change, but most often, it turns out for the better---in all aspects of life.

What if someone could prove to you that the NPS didn't offer as much as LP put into building the roads? Would you still feel the way you do? What if someone said it isn't a million, or even that close to a million in difference, would you still feel the way you do?

Better yet, what if you were trying to sell land and you put alot of money and hard work into it and a bunch of people accused you of being greedy because you refused an offer that wasn't as much as you put into it and you simply didn;t feel it was fair? Would you cave in and sell it cheap to remain non-greedy and save face? That's a toughy eh....

Not trying to attack you or anything I am actually curious to know how you fell about this---i mean, i'm asking myself the same questions and trying to look at all sides and all options. You're obviously very intellegent.

I'm all about plan A, plan B, plan C plan D and whatever else as long as we don't harm anyone. Woods Ferry is will be, whatever is fine with me...just tell me where to go.
