Boxcar Pin

The pin was in the notch where the two lines converge.  A spot you shouldn't be in but things happen.  The person was pinned behind the drop with their body in the curtain.  They were in a cut down glass boat (i.e., 10-11 ft Mark V type boat).  They were rescued by throwing a rope into the drop that happened to hit his outreached hand.  The total duration was 1-2 minutes to pull him out, the boat washed out after he was free.  I believe it was a low water run in the 6" to 0" range.

Are you talking about  a verticle pin at Boxcar, cause I thought it was way too deep for that to happen? By notch, do you mean the center of the drop where the two lines converge? What kind of boat was it and how long was the person pinned? Did their stern get caught behind the curtain? Any info would be appreciated, because I have always thought that was the one thing that probably wouldn't happen there.
