I also guide the Ocoee, and spent many years guiding the New River Gorge and Gauley Rivers. I don't know how I would handle a death on my trip, being a customer or guide. I have been told I am a good guide and consider myself a good guide, but know a situation like this can happen to the best of the best on any given day. I thank the good Lord only minor injuries have ever happened in my boat. Sunburst in the only company I know that runs the Alien line, I am sure that will change know. My thoughts and prayers are with Sunburst and Stan's family as life on the Ocoee continues and I pray no one else has to experience this tragic loss again.....Brooks  <><
