you know, now that you mention it, I just realized that my face mask expects to be attached to a helmet that has ear protection (not my case), that's why it was looking so out of place on my helmet (had to go to double check it).

The mask has some attachments on the side that make sense if there's ear coverage, if I try to use it on a regular helemt, the face mask is to close to my face.

Bummer, either I get another face mask, or another helmet (might get a second helemt better that fully cover the ears).
