Since when is putting a harder, surfboard style rail something new? Riot, Necky, and Massive have been doing it for several years now. It does look cool, and it should make those boats rip it up and actually be able to do stuff other then butt bounce, but it is still far from innovative. It seems that it is a catching up tactic to me. I will say this though. When Shane sets out to do something with his boats, he tends to do really well at it. I still have yet to see any boat get more air then the Space Cadet series (on the wave or in the hole) from a bounce. The did lack in the carving area, and it would seem they are dealing with it. Looks quite a bit better then either the Scooter or Bigwheel from this year. I do like the look and it looks like it is faster too. But its still no leap in inovation, just integration. Although, who can say that anything in kayaking has been invented for kayaking since the actual invention of the kayak. Most of the "innovations" have been stolen from other sports. Corran seems to have figured this out and embraced it with his new line, as every one is named after a type of surfboard. That boat does look good, but I thought I would just make that point.
