With about a half dozen Selway trips on him he said it was the most intense he's ever seen that river. He's a full-time professional guide on the Middle Forkand so stranger to big water.

I also have another set of friends who are putting on tomorrow and I'm concerned for their safety as well. They are all veteran Selway boaters and they expressed their own concern for the levels the last time I spoke with them.

I hate to read of any kind of tragedy like this and I can only express my sympathyfor the family and friends.
