I paddle the Cadet, and i get my ass kicked in heavy water. Great park and play boat, but not so good as a river runner. I've seen posts about the Kingpin being a good river runner and great playboat. I thought the king pin was to big for me. Cadet fits me great, but try all of these boats out!-jackson
