It's important to have them out there so others who run the river will know the exact location of the danger.

I haven't run the RF gorge in a few years and ran different lines - but I don't recall ever hearing of troubles like this at Tower before.

All the 6's have been thinking of you and Jay. C6 and I can perhaps understand what your going through as unfortunately we experienced the death of a friend on a trip as well. In 1986 we lost Dad Weiland to the icy waters of the Crystal and I still think about him all the time. Not so much how he died -  but rather how he lived.  There is some comfort in knowing that our friends took their last breath paddling the rivers they loved.
