I learned to boat through Adventure Schools the last year they were in operation.  My classes never numbered more then 5, and most of the time I had 2 instructors in the class.  EJ and Christine built up a nice community of paddlers, and I met many of my long time friends through them.  

I never felt pressure to buy a boat or anything else from them (except for some nose plugs).  If there were some bad business practices goign on, that's their business, and most of us weren't aware of any of it.  Either way, it's been years since then...how 'bout giving EJ a second chance.
