So here is what I'm thinking....it might be a good little intro into business management.
Plan, organize, run, and close out a summer fireworks store. That includes everything from proposed cost summaries and action plans, software development for the business, the actual running of the business, and all accounting and legal issues surrounding it.
I talked with my accounting professor and he seems to think it would be an good, original idea(at least for an undergrad), but I can't talk to my advisor until tomorrow.
What are your thoughts on this?
(Keep in mind I am aware of taxes, permits and licenses, bank issues, C.C. issues, rent issues, employees....basically all that good stuff.)
So kinda what I am looking for is all general input you may have on this. No flamers please, this is a legitimate question that I am pretty eager about doing. I just got off the phone with the county clerk and I have a county permit lined up....and my bank is VERY receptive to the idea.

PS.. If my profits are a third of what I am planning on, there might just be enough extra to take off on an out-west trip for a few weeks. :) But that's probably just wishful thinking....tuition comes first.
