In my opinion, the left line is cleaner, and the ferry move is really easy if you know to do it. It's not risky at all if you are good enough to be paddling the UY to begin with. Definitely harder above 2.3 or so though. Most rafts seem to run the left line. Many get stuck on the rock above tombstone.

note I think it's fine to run left if you want to, but my point is you don't have to.  Tombstone is easily avoidable. <NT> Bromel New
