To say that this junior has no concept of the risk involved in kayaking very well may or may not be true.  At what point does one understand the risks? or who should judge that comprehension but one's self?  I boated difficult rivers at his age, and thoroughly enjoyed it.  I also believe I knew the risks involved and how to avoid those risks becoming reality.  I think its awesome that he's going big for such a  young age.
