I know I'm going to get a few I told you so's from this.  I was boating the Watagua gorge and had a "dynamic" run at Hydro.  I went through the entrance fine, peeled out of the eddy headed for a traditional right side line, caught the very edge of the top hole, rolled over the next pourover, and through the subsequent hole upside down.  This is where it happened.  I did however, stick my roll right at the top of Hydro.  Pulled one stroke and did a sort of melt-down/mystery in the hole at the bottom.  I rolled up in the eddy to some helmet gouges, and the paddle split.
