all the other friendly boaters we paddled with.Rock island wave is awesome. It was at 3500 cfs or so and meaty as hell. We had just driven 20 straight hours from Minnesota, going on 4 hours sleep, first time on a river in 3 months on a meaty wave and we end up boating with EJ, it was kind of intimidating but super fun. Ej was throwing loops into the hole and ends to to no end!! Really nice guy. We boated on the Tellico and the Nolichucky also. bald falls has an awesome 20 foot slide to do. Jaws was a blast on the Nol.
We plan to go back next winter but will be a bit more careful where we camp and party at, Johnny law does not seem to like northerners, oh well.
