I'm not quite so sure. I do know that there is obviously far greater exposure to serious consequences in class V and if you are a parent you need to carefully evaluate your priorities...

Parenthood didn't change a thing for me at first either. Then there came the time when I conversed with the River Gods on a deadly class V that I had run numerous times without problem. After a slight misstroke I found myself staying almost 2 minutes under water (I had no idea I could ever hold my breath that long) and was simply lucky to live to see my children again.
