	We make choices in living our lives, and those choices have consequences. Cody's and your efforts to save the lives of your friends are testimony not only to your own bravery but to the quality of the lives of the friends you tried to save. Thanks for the reminder of how short life can be and of the need to make the best of what we have been given, for ourselves, but especially for our family, friends and neighbors.
