Waited too late to decided to attend. All the sites were filled at smokey mtn. meadows camp (except for field camping). Chose Kirkland's instead, my wife liked the pool and my son loved the trout pond. We basically had the whole place to ourselves. After paddling all day "Doc" and his wife had a large fire built roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. They were happy to share. We had a nice shaded site no noise at night leaving us well rested for several days of paddling. What a great time. My 10 y/o son got to do the Tuck, Nanty and FB sec.9. There are two days left. If you're in the area you should catch some of the fun.
