question Making the switch- plastic to gore-tex: base layers different? New

So, I scored me a nice goretex drysuit.  Up to this point I've used an NRS dry top and Kokatat bibs.  Typically down to the low 40's, I would go with one layer of poly pro plus an extra poly pro t-shirt, and anything below the low 40's, I'd either wear 2 layers of polypro or stay home.

So, going from the old non-breathable (sweat like hell) material to breathable goretex, will I need more base layers or not?  What do you think?

note Probably not.  You should still wear base layers with low water affinity because ezwater New
feedback I switched from non-breathable to breathable. snacker55 New
note base layers should be the same.    wicking base, fleece pile on top of that ScottBarnes New
note Snacker, you're lucky if you sweat that little, but I still get some accumulated dampness in gore-tex. ezwater New
smile Believe it or not I don't or at least it doesn't show any dampness. snacker55 New
