	Adds rigidity and makes the boat feel more solid while paddling. Takes but a few minutes. Check out pics and description here: http://www.earthenexposure.com/kayaking/kayakmods.htm I have also modified the stock backband to be used with ratchets mounted near the thigh braces. I will update that page w/ pics and description as soon as I get time to work out a few bugs. So far though, this system is 10x better for me than the stock single ratchet set-up.
