It's got a million great runs nearby, but when are you going to run them?  You get 10-20 days a year that they run. Then they all run at the same time.  And most of them are too long or too remote to do after work, except in the summer (when days are long), but the sandstone runs don't run in the summer.   North chick is amazingly close, but it's a long run with a long shuttle.  Suck creek looks good, but I always thought it looked too dangerous.
That said, Chattanooga is a great little town. Good people, good biking, good climbing, good places to eat.  Knoxville's a shithole, but the stuff in the smokies seems to run a lot.
