I found it much easier to throw around and practice play moves in. Not that I'm much good mind you, but it certainly is a noticeable difference.

That stern does get in the way when looping too close to a pour- over.

did you miss the river running capabilites of the fun as opposed to the allstar?

I still keep the Fun for bigger water like the Gauley and for longer runs when I want something a bit more comfortable.
