	even in the flats they would suddenly breach up out of the water and do a slow cartwheel. Kinda scary and a few mad scrambles to get away from them. For the full write up, check the AW page. Horseshoe and third ledge were washed out, but second ledge was very in play with a big eddy kicking back into the hole. We were able to get in two runs before the rescue squad shut down the river. Three groups of open boaters put on and got spanked. Saw a bunch of destroyed whitesells float past the takeout.
