	Ok bought the Dagger Response and it all looked to be in good shape and I brought it home and replaced the broach loops and installed a new back band.  As I installed the backband I noticed on the back of the cockpit directly above the center pillar the base of the cock pit has a crack about 4 to 5 inches long.  I have read that you should drill a hole at the end of each side of the crack - my fear is that this crack is due to the boats age and if I drill it will do more damage than good.  I fear the boat plastic is too brittle and welding would not do any good either.  The spot where this crack is stressed when you put any pressure on the rim.  Any experience fixing these?
