I paddled one a few weeks ago. It's true that it doesn't have much rocker but it holds a line like it's on a greased rail and pierces what it can't go over. It's one of the most stable boats I've ever paddled and rolls like a dream. I loved putting it up on edge....like a rock. It does take a bit more effort to turn due to the lack of rocker. I also love the Jackson oufitting....simple but effective. You never actually have to adjust the seat once it's set.....you simply release the bulkead and tighten it up once you're in. I actually just bought a new one but seriously debated buying the older model because I liked it so much. There's a 2007(newer model), for sale on BT for $500....a very sweet deal in my opinion. I would have bought it but the shipping cost is getting ridiculous. Not a bad boat....just different imo.
