I have 2 years experience paddling my SuperFun in class III. I love the superfun (I am 6'-5", 230lbs, its the most comfortable boat I have been in) but I am wanting to step it up and hit class IV's very soon as well as next spring when when its huge. I am comfortable doing the class IV's around here in my superfun right now because the water level is lower. I don't feel comfortable running it through those come spring. I like to play in the superfun but its hard for me to throw the boat around so to speak partly because I am not that experienced but I also believe its because of the 70 gallon volumne as well. I am sold on the SuperHero & I am currently looking for a used one but that got me thinking. If I had a SuperHero I should trade in my SuperFun for a Superstar? That sounds like the best of both worlds. How much more playable will the star be versus the fun? I know I need to demo one which I plan on but I wanted to get some input before so I know what to expect. I am rambling but any input you can give me on this subject I would greatly appreciate.
It seems right now I have the perfect one boat for everything but as I progress I think I need more of a straight up river runner. If I have get a straight up river runner why have the boat that is a inbetween when I have have a full on play boat.
Thanks,
