it might have a slightly thinner-than-normal hull.  Combine that with MANY staff runs down low-water Nanty Cascades runs and I'm not surprised to hear that the beam's visible through the hull.  The for-sale/select quality boats should have thicker hulls.  My Hero's still looking great after lots of days and lots of demoes.  Hope that helps a bit.
