It has a flatish shallow arch, with soft edges making it easy to roll, but you have to put it on edge to go into an eddy. Trying to flat pivot into an eddy is a sure way to check out the river bottom.
Paddler mag had an review saying it had poor initial stability - which is complete BS. A very stable boat, both initial and secondary. Turns easily, but doesn't do flat spins like a planing hull. Very stable sideways in a hole.
