I would add that the solo is a boat that some absolutely love and some, well, don't.
I'd suggest trying out a few other boats to be sure you feel good in it.
The fun seems to be no surprise- exactly as expected.
I also suggest you think of your paddling friends. If they are good paddlers, you'll be pushed to do harder rivers sooner
and then the creeker would be nicer. If they are at your level, go for the fun instead. you will learn faster.
then swap it later for a playboat or a creekboat.
